58th Annual SDMTA Annual Conference

The 58th Annual South Dakota Music Teacher’s Association State Conference will be held at Black Hills State University in Spearfish, SD, November 1-3, 2012. The conference will include MTNA and SDMTA competitions, lectures, master classes, and concerts.
Competitions at the collegiate level, plus MTNA brass, woodwind, strings, and junior and senior piano, will begin on Thursday.
Friday will be devoted to a variety of workshops, without the distraction of concurrent competitions. We will have an exciting line up of clinicians and a variety of topics that will be of interest to everyone. On Friday evening at 8:00 p.m. the conference guest artist, Eugene Gienger, will be featured in a solo recital.
